Understanding Course Codes

  1. The three letter code refers to different course offerings. Courses beginning with P are Ph7s Ed courses (with the exception of ATC and IDC)l
  2. The first number refers to the grade level. One denotes Grade Nine. Two denotes Grade 10. Three denotes Grade 11 and four denotes Grade 12.
  3. The middle number references the academic level of the course. O refers to an open level, M refers to a a Mixed level, U refers to a University level and C refers to a college level program.
  4. The final number refers to the gender of the course offering. A 1 signifies a C0-Ed course offering. An 8 signifies a female class. A 9 signifies a male class.
