  4. Wolfram Alpha's long-term goal is to make all systematic knowledge immediately computable and accessible to everyone.  Ask it ANY Math questions and it will have an answer.
  5. Statistical content which is up-to-date, freely available and easy to get/use.
  6. The Google Public Data Explorer makes large datasets easy to explore, visualize and communicate.
  7. Homework Help is a free online math help resource for students in Grades 7-10. Homework Help provides free, live one-on-one tutoring from Ontario teachers Sunday to Thursday from 5:30pm – 9:30pm ET.

Open 22 Business!

The Math Help Room will be open for business every Tuesday from 12:10 -12:50.   Students can get math help in room 3005 where they will find teachers from the Math Dept. offering their assistance in helping anyone with questions.  Every Thursday, peer tutors offer extra help in room 1008 under Ms. Fox’s supervision. Take advantage of all the resources that are available at BCSS!!!

 

Online Math Help

This is an online math tutoring website that is funded by the Ontario government.  It is free, live one-on-one tutoring for Ontario math students in grades 7-10 by certified Ontario teachers.  Sign up today to access this valuable resource!

 

Waterloo Math Contest

It’s time for BCSS’ athletes to become Mathletes for a day!!!  If you are looking for a challenge, or if you just want to improve your math skills, then the Waterloo Math contests are for you. Every year the Centre for Education in Mathematics at University of Waterloo offers high school students a chance to participate in a national mathematics competition.
