Meet Coach Carlin

Welcome to the home of all things Strength & Conditioning at Bill Crothers. Led by Coach J. Carlin, the centre gives our students the to opportunity to excel in their sport, and optimize their physical and mental health.

Coach Carlin has spend the last half decade dedicating his time and commitment to the world of Strength & Conditioning as an athlete and a coach. He aims to build student's relationship with their own physical literacy as he prepares them for a healthy future. 

If you are interested in scheduling a meeting with Coach Carlin, make an appointment. Meetings will run 30 for minutes and students will learn about goal-setting, fitness, nutrition, followed by a one-on-one strength and conditioning session session in the weight room.

Weight Room Schedule

Please see Coach Carlin in the Therapy Room (1020) to schedule use of the weight room(s). Below is the most up to date facility schedule indicating which weight rooms will have supervision throughout the day. Note that all rooms are subject to change based on classroom allocation. If you are interested in utilizing a space in which there is no supervisor present, check in with Coach Carlin in the Room 1020 (Therapy Room).

Women Weight Room Wednesdays

*Every Wednesday the second floor weight room is restricted to female athletes only. A female supervisor will be present with Coach Carlin to provide fitness, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle information. All experience levels are welcome.
